Leeds Counselling is a charity which provides a range of services to promote emotional and physical wellbeing.

Each year we help hundreds of local people with a wide range of problems and difficulties through counselling at our Leeds Bridge House service.

Our Leeds Bridge House service is located in central Leeds and serves the whole city and its regions. Over 50 counsellors are available, and the service is an Accredited Service of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). We offer a range of therapeutic approaches within a broad psychodynamic framework. Leeds Counselling also provides other services which you may be interested in:

• We work in partnership with agencies across Leeds, providing community counselling services to clients meeting certain criteria. This includes counselling in schools.
• We provide primary care mental health interventions for NHS patients referred through their GP, as part of the IAPT  (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) programme.
  
• We offer subsidised group therapy through our project Leeds Group Therapy, as an alternative to one-to-one counselling.
  
• We have recently launched Meridian Wellbeing, a consultancy working with individuals and organisations to enhance wellbeing through coaching and training.
  
• We provide NHS Health Trainer services in east and south Leeds, helping to support people to make positive changes to their physical health, through our project Leeds Community Wellbeing.
  
• We run a programme of continuing professional development training for counsellors.
