Leeds Counselling is one of the city’s largest counselling services, promoting emotional well-being through inclusive and accessible therapy services. Each year we offer 18,000 hours of counselling to help local people with a wide range of problems and difficulties. Our main, generic counselling service is located in central Leeds and serves the whole city and its regions. Over 50 counsellors are available to work with a range of problems, including many Accredited Counsellors of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Various therapeutic approaches are used within a broad psychodynamic framework. We also work in partnership with agencies across Leeds, providing pioneering community counselling services to particular groups. Always innovative, in 2008 we started Leeds Group Therapy - offering an alternative to one to one counselling and we have recently launched Meridian Wellbeing - working with individuals and organisations to enhance wellbeing.
