Community Counselling Services
Leeds Counselling
works in partnership with agencies across Leeds,
providing innovative counselling services in
particular areas of Leeds. Our current projects are
available to people who use:
-
Leeds City Council’s Children’s Centres
across the city
|
-
Leeds
Mencap Family Support Centre
|
-
Together Women Project, Leeds & Bradford
|
We
also provide training and facilitation to community
agencies, e.g. we provide ongoing training and
supervision to staff working with gypsy, roma and
traveller families in Beeston Hill.
Leeds Counselling’s
community counselling projects help agencies provide
specialist professional help to their clients,
especially those with multiple and complex
problems. The results are impressive – on average,
77% of clients show improvement and/or recovery
after counselling, and 23% of clients are
stabilised. Community counselling projects are also
an invaluable resource for supporting frontline
staff and managers.
Leeds Counselling
is interested in hearing from other
agencies (statutory or voluntary) who wish to
work in partnership to provide counselling for their
service users or staff support to their workforce.
Please call us on 0113 243 3400 for an informal
discussion about how we can help your service users
and staff.
