How
Counselling
Can Help
At Leeds Counselling’s city-centre service, a
skilled counsellor or psychotherapist will listen to
you without judging, and can help you to understand
your current difficulties, past experiences, and
anxieties about the future. The counsellor will
help you to make your own choices and decisions.
Working with a counsellor or psychotherapist can
enable you to understand how you respond to life
events, and can help you to explore ways of relating
to yourself and other people.
People come to Leeds Counselling for help with
emotional, personal or relationship problems. Some
people approach the service because they feel at
'breaking point'; others want to understand a
particular issue in their life.
Counselling or psychotherapy can help with:
o
low mood or 'feeling down'
o
anxious feelings
o
stress at work, college, or at home
o
understanding angry feelings
o
lack of confidence
o
difficulties in relationships
o
bereavement and other losses
o
