At Leeds Counselling’s Leeds Bridge House service, a
skilled counsellor will listen to you without judging,
and can help you to understand your current
difficulties, past experiences, and anxieties about the
future. The counsellor will help you to make your own
choices and decisions.
Working with a counsellor can enable you to
understand how you respond to life events, and can help
you to explore ways of relating to yourself and other
people.
People come to Leeds Counselling for help with
emotional, personal or relationship problems. Some
people approach the service because they feel at
'breaking point'; others want to understand a particular
issue in their life.
Counselling can help with:
- low mood or 'feeling down'
- anxious feelings
- stress at work, college, or at home
- understanding angry feelings
- lack of confidence
- difficulties in relationships
- bereavement and other losses
- issues relating to unhappiness or abuse in
childhood
- coping with physical illness
- loneliness
