Counselling - making an appointment Contact Us


You can contact us yourself – you do not need to be referred. You can call us on 0113 245 0303.

When you call us, we will arrange an initial assessment appointment for you.  This appointment will help you to decide whether or not counselling could be helpful for your situation. 

At this assessment appointment the counsellor will ask about aspects of your earlier and present life and the reasons that prompted you to make contact. He or she will also ask you about what you expect from counselling, and explain more about the service. 

Also at the assessment appointment the counsellor will discuss with you the amount that you'll pay for the assessment and the weekly sessions that will follow; this amount will be based on your financial circumstances.  You and the counsellor will also talk about confidentiality, the arrangements for payment, what happens if sessions are cancelled, as well as the duration of counselling that you may require.
