Leeds Counselling is one of four agencies delivering NHS primary care mental health services in Leeds, as part of the IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) programme.
We provide a service which offers CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) for people referred to us by their NHS primary care mental health worker. This service is intended to help with common mental health problems such as depression, anxiety and panic attacks, and stress. Sessions take place both at premises in Leeds city centre and in various community venues across the city.
You can access a primary care mental health worker by:
- visiting your GP
- being referred by another health professional such as a health visitor
